Yesterday’s permaculture article should be very
inspiring; it is to me! I keep stressing the fact that sustainable living can be practiced where ever Yahweh has placed you.
Granted, it may not be “Sustainable Living” in the full extent of the meaning but everyone can have the mindset
and practice the lifestyle to the best of their ability.
But
honestly, the idea of “permanent – agriculture” really is intended to be utilized on larger scales. But
the interesting thing is; “larger scales” usually only refers to less than five or so acres. It’s an intensive
way of life and one or two people can only handle so much. Now that doesn’t mean they can’t have a larger, cash
crop of some sort in conjunction with the permaculture arrangement. But most, true permaculture operations are small by necessity
due to the management that’s involved with maintaining them.
While operators do reduce the labor required per yield , because they are working with Yahweh’s creation instead
of against it; it is accomplished because there is a lot intensified in a small area in order to maximize production. And
so it can be labor intensive – but it doesn’t have to be.
And so permaculture is just part of the “Sustainable Living” lifestyle tools to be considered; a part
of the equation that can help you lead a more Godly lifestyle.
I’ll
see you out in the field,
