Fundamentals of Our Faith

We believe in the the God of the Bible who is the Creator of heaven and earth whose name is Yahweh. "Hear O Israel, Yahweh our God, Yahweh is One" (Deut. 6:4). The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are united in the Godhead (Is. 11:1-2, Lk. 4:18-21).

We believe in the Scriptures, both the "Old and New Testament"  in their original, inspired text. They are the inspired and inerrant Word of Yahweh, God Almighty. They are the divine and final authority in determining all doctrinal truths (2 Tim. 3:16).

We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth is the Messiah (Christ), God made manifest in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16). He was born of a virgin (Luke 1:34) and lived a sinless life. He died for us as an atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:10), was resurrected from the dead (1 Cor. 15:4), and has ascended to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19). Yeshua is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and will return again to physically reign over the earth (Zech. 14, Acts 1:9-11, and Rev. 19:11-16).

We believe that all have sinned and need to receive salvation through repentance, which is provided only through Yeshua and by the grace of Yahweh (Ps. 14:1-3, Rom. 3:23).

We believe that the gospel of the Messiah spans all nations, languages and people groups (Rev. 5:9-10) and is available to all who seek Him (Mt. 6:33, Jn. 3:16).

We believe that Holy Spirit indwells and empowers all believers to lead, guide, teach, comfort, and to live a righteous life if they allow Him to  (Jn. 14:26, 2 Tim. 1:7, 1 Cor. 14:26).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and unsaved. The redeemed to everlasting joy in the presence of Yahweh, and the lost to eternal damnation and separation from Yahweh (John 5:28-29 and Rev. 20:11-15).

We believe the instructions of Yahweh are of a loving and gracious Father to His children. It is the perfect law that gives us liberty (Ps. 119:44-45, James 2:25-26). The commandments of Yahweh will not disappear until heaven and earth disappear (Matt. 5:17-20). We delight in the instruction of Yahweh (Ps. 1:2). It is the loving instruction of how a redeemed and righteous people should live. Yeshua kept His Father’s commandments and lived in the Father's love. We are instructed to walk as Yeshua walked (1 John 2:3-6). We are to obey Yahweh’s commandments and to hold to the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah(Rev. 12:17).

The Nicene Creed

This  brief statement is the most widely accepted statement of the Christian Faith.

We believe in one God the Father all powerful, maker of all things both seen and unseen. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only-begotten begotten from the Father, that is from the substance of the Father, God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten not made, consubstantial with the Father, through whom all things came to be, both those in heaven and those in earth; for us humans and for our salvation he came down and became incarnate, became human, suffered and rose up on the third day, went up into the heavens, is coming to judge the living and the dead. And in the holy Spirit.

Regarding America
We believe that history clearly records that Godly men who were divinely inspired formed the foundation based upon Godly principles of which America was built upon.

We believe that although America was originally founded upon Godly principles it has strayed away from those principles and now, absent dramatic repentance,  stands at the door of God's judgement.
